Thank You to Lowe’s!

We are sending a huge thank you to Lowe’s Home Improvement for providing the grant funding and volunteers to provide much-needed repairs for a veteran in St. Paul! Brian, a veteran of the Air Force, and his wife Linda have been struggling to keep up with repairs to their home. With the support of Lowe’s and the hard work of their volunteers, we were able to alleviate stress for Brian and Linda; ensure that their home is safe and healthy; and enable them to remain safely and independently in their own home and community.

Quicksilvers Build Another Ramp!

Our Quicksilvers Volunteer Team built another ramp late last month for Mona. Mona and her daughter are from the region between Lebanon and Kuwait, and she made a traditional Lebanese lunch for the Quicksilvers group. Mona is currently doing therapy to help recover her mobility and stability. When our Ramp Program Manager returned the day after the ramp build to pick up the trailer, the first thing she did was show him how she could steady herself on the hand rails and take steps on the ramp our volunteers built. This ramp is unique in that we built a small roof to help keep Mona’s scooter dry. Thank you to the Quicksilvers for giving your time to help Mona!

She Shed Is Complete!

During our Flannel Fling last year, we auctioned off a She Shed to one lucky donor, and we are excited to share that the project is complete!

We would like to extend a special thank you to CoreNet, Greiner Construction, and IAG Commercial who came together to make this happen!

The She Shed received the highest bid for our Live Auction event last year. We are grateful for the support of these incredible organizations to help us raise money to assist our neighbors in need!
