Are You on the Hook, Line, & Shelter Fishing Tournament Final Leaderboard?

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Hook, Line, & Shelter Fishing Tournament!  The Tournament ran from May 14th through Labor Day weekend and we LOVED seeing all of your fishing photos and entries!

We have updated the leaderboard for the final time, which you can view here.

Congratulations to everyone who made the leaderboard!

We have been working remotely all summer due to a water pipe break in our office, so we ask that you please be patient as we process and send out the prizes. We plan to send all of the prizes out in the coming weeks.

We would like to send a very special thank you to WCCO Television, Joe’s Sporting Goods, and 13 Fishing for sponsoring this event!  The tournament proceeds will support our efforts to ensure that everyone in our community has a safe and healthy place to call home!

Volunteer Paul Oman Has Passed Away

With a heavy heart, we are sharing the news that one of our volunteers, Paul Oman, has passed away. Paul was one of our “Big 3” Quicksilvers volunteers.  Our Ramp Program Manager, Ryan Thomas, said, “He was a gentle soul, with a servant’s heart and a smile on his face.”

Paul will be missed and we send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fellow volunteers.

Shout Out to Omaze!

We would like to send a special thank you to Omaze for providing us with a grant to help three low-income families in need with much-needed repairs and accessibility modifications!

Spectrum Gives Back in Duluth

We recently partnered with Spectrum to help Community Action Duluth with improvements and technology for its job training program!  Spectrum provided a grant towards this project and employee volunteers to assist on the project day.

This project is part of Spectrum Community Center Assist, the company’s five-year, $30 million philanthropic initiative to revitalize local community centers and invest in job training programs in rural and urban underserved communities.

Spectrum is providing Community Action Duluth its 1 Gig service, at no charge, for the life of the program. Spectrum also donated 25 new laptops and one Smartboard to support the organization’s training and technology programs.

Read more about this project here.

We are very grateful to Spectrum for your continued partnership!
